Speech Therapy

If your personalized rehabilitation program includes speech therapy, you should know that speech disorders can be related to neurological, psychological and / or physical conditions. Your speech therapist will be working in conjunction with other therapists and skilled staff to design a program specifically for you. You may need speech therapy after hearing loss, stroke, or a brain injury due to a work, sports or accident related injury. The goal of this type of therapy is to increase the ability to communicate through speech, and to find ways to deal with the stress associated with losing the ability to communicate easily.
